Test tools or methods to enhance KPMP clinical phenotyping

Given the breadth and depth of molecular data being generated by interrogating KPMP biopsies, there is a critical need to develop and implement new tools or methods to achieve greater breadth and depth of longitudinal clinical phenotypic data describing our KPMP patient participants (https://kpmp.org/researcher-resources/). Areas of need include, but are not limited to, physiology and imaging.

This solicitation aims to form new collaborative partnerships by providing KPMP opportunity pool funds to applicants proposing to enhance the longitudinal clinical phenotyping of KPMP patient participants at a single existing KPMP Recruitment Site (RS). All data and protocols from this first “test” phase must be completed and uploaded to the KPMP CH within the first year. Newly identified tools or methods that add significant value to the KPMP will be eligible for a second year of KPMP funding and perhaps incorporation across multiple KPMP RSs.

Five (5) page applications may request up to $100,000 total costs in year one and $200,000 total costs in year two (for a total of 2 years)
