KPMP Participant Letter:
May 2023
Dear KPMP Participant,
Emanuel Holley’s Insight at the All-KPMP Meeting
We were so excited to have one of our study participants, Emanuel Holley, speak at the recentAll-KPMP meeting. This meeting is attended by all members of the KPMP team.
Emanuel provided excellent feedback about his experience as a KPMP study participant. He talked about how being in the study has impacted his life. For instance, how the changes he has made to his diet improved his lab results.
He also suggested ways that KPMP could improve the participant experience, such as:
- Provide “better kidney education and communications resources, in general.”
- Provide “clear communications”, including this participant update letter.
Emmanuel’s perspective has been very helpful, and we’ve already acted on his recommendations. During the meeting,Emanuel told us, “I feel welcomed, I feel celebrated, I feel heard.”
Patients continue to be at the heart of what we do and why we do it. We would love to hear your perspective. If you are interested in attending one of our upcoming meetings, virtually orin-person, please let your Recruitment Site team know. They will support you. You can be involved in any way that you feel comfortable.
